Sometimes it seems as if people were born to complain. If it’s hot outside we wished it was cold, if something is too cold we wished it was hot, if you found a $1 on the ground you wished it were $20. Complaining at times just never seems to cease. We always want more; bigger and better. Granted there is nothing wrong with wanting the best out of life while we’re here; but here is the real question…Have you taken inventory of your life and counted each one of the blessings God has given you? Now don’t just count them, but have you taken the time to appreciate them? Sometimes you have to look at your situation and look at the place you came from and just know that was God that got you from one place to another. A lot of times we get so spoiled with our blessings we fail to realize God did not have to bless us at all. Yet he is such an awesome God; despite the fact that we still debate about accepting him into our lives fully, despite the fact that instead of willingly giving all of our problems to him, we decide to carry the burden of life on our own backs…and he still blesses us over and over again. Ha! Not fair right? So I ask you, have you tasted that the Lord is good? Have you tasted the sweet simplistic life in abundance? If you have, then you know how grateful it is to have that taste but if you haven’t had the pleasure of tasting that the Lord is good yet (I say yet because you will one day I promise you that), when you do take a moment and absorb the flavor of his gracious blessings. Close your eyes and allow your arms to expand as wide as they can and know…GOD IS Good!!!-Bianca Lynnette
